We’ve been working hard analyzing the data that we collected in Spain, Greece and Ireland. Let’s look at some preliminary results!
What do the participants report?
So far, a total of 35 participants took part in our course – 5 females and 30 males. They were from 16 to 66 years old, with a mean age of just over 38.
During the course our participants gained deeper knowledge about emotions and difficult situations one might encounter and how to manage them. We followed them closely and assessed several aspects of their functioning before and after the course – to see whether it’s helpful.
The results of our preliminary analysis look quite promising. On average, participants reported fewer problems in emotion regulation after the course less negative emotional experiences. On the other hand, their positive emotions increased, as did their ability to cope with stress and overall life satisfaction. Our sample is small, so we are patiently waiting for more data to verify our initial findings.
What to the trainers say?
We gathered data from 19 different trainers of the course. You can see their ratings of the different aspects of the course below.
Overall, they reported that the training course was informative, helpful, and helped participants who took part.
We hope this short recap convinced you that the first results look promising. It’s now time to continue with our work and a deeper analysis of the data we collected.
